Discovering and experimenting with electronic music at a young age, Aquasion became an avid listener of primarily ambient breakbeats and house music along with many other genres. "At one point" Aquasion says, "In the nineties when I was a kid I started to record all these breakbeat samples that I got from CDs or tapes from other artists like Fat Boy Slim and Prodigy, or whoever I was feeling at the time, and I would patch them together to do a little reprisal of my own. It really gave me a sense of 'this was mine and it was".

Aquasion also devoted much of his time to studying composition, mixing and the roots of DJing and the progression of the music. He soon began playing percussive instruments in elementary school as well as the stand-up bass in his middle school orchestra. Soon after being exposed to the classical and jazz side of things he developed an ear for music. Three years later he discovered Good Looking records; "LTJ Bukem, MC Conrad, DRS and that very distinctive 'Goodlooking' sound had caught my ear - that was it; I was hooked! The way that the music made me feel was indescribable. I finally found music that I could connect to on so many levels, you know?". Today Aquasion is focusing on developing and nurturing his own style and sound including the cultivation of the new label erected "Textures Music". The labels main focus is to bring back the sounds that originally inspired him and so many others to make, pursue and to educate others; - expect an output of moody music that is nostalgic of when it all began…

Having performed under the likes of LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad and the Progression Sessions banner, his productions being supported by the likes of Stunna, ASC, Tidal, Galaxi and many others and also with tracks being signed to labels such as Black Reign and also launching his very own label 'Textures Music' the future is looking mighty bright for Aquasion. With the unique sound he brings to the table you can expect something upfront and fresh. Influenced by rare groove jazz, soul, hip hop and funk combined with forward thinking drum and bass break beats, musically, the only way is forward for this DJ and producer.
